ION Radio - Live Internet Feed
Want to hear a clean, clear ION Radio signal anywhere in the world?...you can with our live Internet streaming feed over your computer.
...if you get some other message, you'll need to install the Winamp player...it's quick and easy and detailed below
We've
selected the Winamp player (owned by AOL) to hear the streaming signal. Of
the solutions that we looked at, Winamp has a long and successful heritage,
installs quickly, and is technically very simple both for producing the signal
and listening to it.
To install the Winamp player click on the following link:
- Lite for plain music playback (only 0.9MB)...this is all you need to play ION Radio
- Full with skins, library, and Internet media (4.6MB); and
- Bundle, which comes with a sample song (8.66MB).
When the "File Download" appears, select "RUN" or "OPEN" this program from its current location
Press the "OK" button to begin the download
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the install
(if you're using Netscape Navigator you will "Save in" location on your Desktop)
if you "SAVE" the file onto your computer, once its saved, you'll need to run the program to install it
Now when you click on the link in the first step, you'll be able to hear the station. Whenever you open the Winamp player, it should also take you directly to the station, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at work or at home.
The little scrolling window in the player will tell you what's playing, and the status of the service at any point in time.
Enjoy!
